Abstract: Case study of a family encountered in pastoral counseling. Follows the family through childhood sexual abuse, infidelity, anger, communication problems--all of which have contributed to significant distress in their marriages. Illustrates that marriage counseling can help resolve conflicts and heal wounds. Illustrates the importance of cultural sensitivity, the use of clinical assessments, treatment planning, and integrating the eclectic approach within a biblical framework.
